Dr n.med. Jacek Żurek, PH.D.
He graduated from the Medical Academy of Silesia in Katowi- ce, Department of Dentistry in Zabrze (2004). A long-time em- ployee of the Department of Periodontal and Mucous Mem- brane Diseases of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice (from 2006 to 2013) Lecturer in the LEP-etytorium training series (from 2007 to 2010). Author and co-author of a number of scientific works on periodontology, conservative dentistry and orthodontics in Polish and foreign scientific journals. Lecturer at scientific symposia and practical workshops in periodontology. In 2016 he obtained the title of Ph.D. n. med. in the field of periodontology. Doctoral thesis entitled "Clinical assessment of coverage of gingival recession using an allo- geneic biostatic graft of the fascia lata of the thigh" he defen- ded at the Medical University of Wrocław.
