Bone regeneration in the horizontal dimension

TRAINING PROGRAM:

 

1 DAY

10:00 – 11:30 Introduction to bone regeneration. Overview of biomaterials, membranes and tools used in bone regeneration. The importance of own bone.

11:30 – 11:45 – Coffee break.

11:45 – 12:30 - Flap design and soft tissue management during bone regeneration.

12:30 – 14:00 – Workshop. Designing the flap, its mobilization and proper sewing. (animal preparations).

14:00 – 15:00 - Lunch break.

15:00 – 16:15 - "Sausage Technique" as the gold standard in horizontal bone regeneration.

16:15 – 16:30 –  Coffee break

16:30 – 18:00 - Workshop, "Sausage Technique" (performing the treatment on an animal preparation independently).

2. DAY

  9:00 –   9:30 - Presentation of patients for treatments.

  9:30 – 11:30 - Live treatments or VIDEO of treatments "sausage technique".

11:30 – 11:45 - Coffee break

11:45 – 13:00 - Soft tissue restoration after bone regeneration. Technique overview. Indications for a given technique.

13:00 – 14:00 - Lunch break.

14:00 – 15:00 – Free Gingival Graft (FGG) as one of the techniques of soft tissue regeneration after bone regeneration.

15:00 – 15:15 - Coffee break

15:15 – 16:45 - Workshop.  Free Gingival Graft  – FGG. (performing the treatment on an animal preparation independently).

16:45 – 17:00 - Discussion, case studies, handing out certificates.
